The Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP) enables companies to work towards reducing their CO₂ emissions by setting targets for energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in their data centers. In line with the European Green Deal, 25 cloud providers and data centers, including LCL Data Centers, have signed the CNDCP. Therefore, the pact has taken a self-regulatory initiative, in partnership with the European Commission.

The goal of the CNDCP is to help achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Companies that join the CNDCP must contribute to climate objectives by achieving measurable emission reductions and regularly monitoring, reporting, and improving them.
