Cogent offers internet, data transport and colocation services to companies and 'NetCentric' customers (telecom operators, content providers and the like) through its extensive fiber optic, IP data-only network. The company is present in 52 countries and is strongly represented in the Belgian market. By expanding its network to a new location, Cogent intends to provide direct connections to as many customers as possible.
