Grand Opening of LCL Diegem

On Thursday 18 October, LCL celebrated the official opening of the renovated premises in Diegem. The data center now has a new entrance, as well as meeting and presentation rooms that our customers, partners and visitors can use. The opening started with a brief tour, after which Marc Lambotte and Filip Van den Abeele shared some inspirational words that made us think about the digital future. This was followed by a slap-up meal and some music.

In the Uptime Institute's survey of some 900 data center operators and IT practitioners around the world, almost one third of respondents (31%)said that they had experienced an IT interruption or malfunction in the past year. Power cuts were the most common cause of these incidents. This finding is of particular interest when viewed in the light of Belgium's current energy issues.
