  • Carrier News

Cofely, a subsidiary of GDF Suez Energy Services whose specialist capabilities include data centre services and housing, is currently renting a rack at LCL to take advantage of the numerous operators at the data centre in Diegem. "LCL has the great advantage to have a significant number of operators in-house. We want our clients to be able to choose from a wide range of operators, and our presence in the LCL data centre makes that possible", explains Thibault Meur, Business Development Manager at Cofely Services. "LCL has an excellent reputation. Furthermore, LCL is carrier-neutral, which means it is not tied to any/one specific operator. Because LCL is active in the north of Belgium, while Cofely is mainly active in the south of the country, we complement each other really well."

GTT Communications, a global cloud networking provider to multinational enterprises, has announced the opening of a new network operations center (NOC) in Fairfax (Virginia), to support the global delivery of cloud networking solutions to a growing base of multinational clients. "GTT is growing rapidly and the addition of a new Network Operations Center will ensure we can continue to provide superior service to our clients worldwide", says Rick Calder, CEO and president of GTT. This move means GTT now has Network Operations Centers in Fairfax (Virginia, US), Belfast (Northern Ireland), and Cagliari (Italy).
